Basics of corrugated board production and processing: Paper and corrugated board testing

The course shows which different test methods are used for testing corrugated board base paper and finished corrugated board.
It explains how the theoretical ECT value is extrapolated from the practically determined paper values, taking into account the direction of paper flow, and why this value is so important for corrugated board quality.
The drawing of paper and corrugated board samples and their handling is explained and illustrated using practical examples.
